Today has been one of the better days. I haven’t had one of those in a while.

I had a singing lesson this morning and my sister took the scenic beach route home so we could talk. It was nice to have some ‘sister’ time. This afternoon had been spent outside in the sun, playing with my nieces, eating ice cream and washing the cars. Simple but it makes such a difference.

My nanna is here with us and we’re mostly sitting in silence, just enjoying the sun and each others company.

It feels like life is good today.
